MANDOLIN PICKGUARDS These are very high quality pickguards,
also known as finger rests, for both A-style and F-style mandolins. These pickguards are constructed from faux tortoise
shell celluloid and, (except for the F-9 and A-9 styles), are fully bound with either white-black-white , or ivoroid-black-ivoroid
binding. Constuction includes a reinforcement strip on the back side. This, along with the clear acrylic backing, makes
for a very sturdy unit that will resist cupping and warping. All pickguards come with two steel mounting pins on the straight
edge. Full sized pickguards include the traditionally styled mounting bracket. This bracket is fashioned with matching
materials, a threaded stud with an ebony block at one end, nuts and a mounting screw. Note: Full sized pickguards require
the drilling of three small holes in the mandolin. Abbreviated pickguards require the drilling of two small holes in the
mandolin. Prices: Full Sized F-Style Mandolin Pickguard-$175.00 Full Sized A- Style Mandolin Pickguard-$150.00 Abbreviated

F-9 MANDOLIN PICKGUARD This pickguard was orginally designed for the Gibson F-9 Mandolin. It also works great with the Collings MF, MF-5, and other
Mandolins. This is an unbound pickguard, with a simple, understated, yet functional design. It's made from celluloid
plastic, and like all of our pickguards, (with the exception of our one-piece pickguards), it is backed with an ebony
strip and clear acrylic, to strengthen the guard and to resist warping. It comes with two mounting pins for simple and
sturdy assembly onto the Mandolin. Price: $75.00 This Pickguard is available in the A-9 Style, which also
works well for the Collings MT, MT2 style, and many other Mandolins. Price: $75.00

PICKGUARD Would you like a pickguard for your mandolin? Does a full sized guard seem too big? Worried about scratching
the top of your valuable mandolin? This pickguard may be just what you are looking for.
Made from tortoise colored
celluloid, this pickguard is the real deal. It is fully bound with ivoriod-black-ivoroid celluloid binding material. The
surface has been polished to a high luster. The back face includes an acrylic backing and a strip of ebony along the straight
edge, for added strength and stability. There are two mounting pins, either loose or installed in the guard (your choice).
Loose pins are recommended if your mandolin already has holes from a previous pickguard installation.
So, if you
have been considering a pickguard for your mandolin, this Abbreviated A-Style Pickguard is an excellent choice. Its small
size makes it look great on the mandolin, while protecting the most vulnerable part of the instrument from unwanted pick wear.
The added advantage is that a smaller pickguard covers less of the treble hole, which can only help the tone and volume of
the mandolin. Price: $110.00

PICKGUARD Not sure if you even want a pickguard? Is a full sized pickguard too big? This might be the perfect answer.
Priced less than a traditional pickguard, these abbreviated pickguards sport a very sexy look. They also offer the advantage
of covering less of your mandolin's treble F-hole, thereby letting more sound out of the instrument, while protecting the
top of your mandolin from pick wear. These pickguards give "maximum protection with minimum coverage". Price:$125.00
FULL SIZE F-5
PICKGUARD This is the pickguard for the traditionalist. It is in the true Lloyd Loar style, fully bound, with either
white-black-white or ivoroid-black-ivoroid binding. A matching mounting bracket is included (with nickel or gold plated hardware).
A great choice for both new instruments and vintage models. It is made with faux-tortise shell celluloid material, and
has an ebony reinforcing strip and clear acrylic backing for increased strength and stability. Of course, it is buffed
to a high sheen and looks great on a mandolin. Price: $175.00
Ebony Pickguards
We now make a nice selection of Ebony Pickguards. The one in the picture above is an
abbreviated "F" Style with single binding. This one is shown on a mandolin, but of course the mandolin would
not be included in the purchase of a pickguard- (this seems obvious, but you would be suprised,...)
We also make them with ivoroid-black-ivoroid binding- just specify which one you want when ordering.
