"The Loar" -' A' Style Mandolins

We are pleased to announce that we have recently become dealers of "THE LOAR"  Mandolins.
These instruments are a great way to break into the world of the mandolin without breaking the bank.  They come in several styles and price points.  They sound nice "as is", or if you wish we can install one of the world famous "Cumberland Acoustic Mandolin Bridges" for you.  These are the same bridges found on many high dollar mandolins all over the world and they really do make these mandolins come alive and sound their very best.
If you let us put our very own “C.A. Bridge" on for you, we will also give the mandolin a once-over, including a professional level set-up, which includes:  Top quality bridge installation, fret level and dress as needed, nut slot adjustment as needed, and an adjustment of the action for the optimum blend of tone and playability.
Here are some nice options if you prefer 'A' Style Mandolins.

LM-220-VS

The Loar LM-220 mandolin is assembled with a solid carved spruce top and solid maple back and sides.  The maple neck has a comfortable rounded v-profile to fit in the hand perfectly.  For players who prefer a more streamlined look, the LM-220 has a single layer of ivoroid binding.  High-quality Grover tuners, nickel hardware and an extremely thin polyurethane lacquer finish all combine to make this professional-quality instrument an amazing value and a first for the professional mandolin market.

The LM-400 has a hand-carved, fully graduated solid Spruce top, as well as a hand carved fully graduated solid figured Maple back and sides. This fine instrument is assembled with a one-piece, rounded v-profile flamed maple neck and bound rosewood fretboard, compensated ebony bridge and vintage-style tuners. The bone nut and ebony bridge allow for the singing sustain that professional players look for in a high-quality hand-assembled mandolin. The Loar Fern M.O.P./Abalone Headstock Inlay completes the look. The nitrocellulose lacquer is thinly sprayed on the vintage sunburst finish and then hand-buffed for a finish that is beautiful and lets the voice of the instrument speak clearly.
